Kelvin and the Infamous Machine

Kelvin and the Infamous Machine is a hilarious point-and-click adventure in which you stumble irresponsibly through history to help legendary geniuses complete their masterworks!
Kelvin is the well-meaning research assistant of Dr. Edwin Lupin, an outstanding but tacky physicist who goes completely nuts when his life’s work, a shower-shaped time machine, is ridiculed by the scientific community. Bent on leaving his mark, Lupin launches himself into the past to prevent history’s greatest geniuses from completing their defining works, so HE can complete them instead.
Now the very fabric of time is beginning to unravel, and it’s up to Kelvin and his fellow research assistant Lise to repair it. Point and click your way through three wacky, gorgeously drawn chapters to help Ludwig van Beethoven, Isaac Newton, and Leonardo da Vinci achieve their destined greatness!

  • Kelvin and the Infamous Machine is a fresh take on time travel, with a diverse cast of characters thrust into hilarious scenarios. The puzzles aren’t so difficult that they’re maddening, but just enough to feel rewarding when it all clicks into place. You’ll be laughing out loud or scratching your head, but you won’t ever be bored.

  • The characters are well written and generate a lot of humour, while the design is also drawn really well. It’s a shame then that a movement bug in the Newton chapter does break immersion, but it is limited to that section. The puzzles are well constructed and are welcoming to all player levels, making Kelvin and The Infamous Machine a great addition to the adventure genre.

  • If you prefer more laid-back puzzle games, maybe still give Kelvin a chance but bring a friend. Two heads are better than one after all and you definitely won’t regret it.

  • Kelvin and the Infamous Machine is probably the best point-and-click game I have played. It’s artistic design is very quaint and detailed, and the hugely engrossing story had me hooked from the off. It's a shame that it wasn't longer, even though the chapters can take a substantial time to complete - which isn't necessarily a bad point in this this game. What I did play left me desperate for more, and that surely is the mark of a great game?

  • Kelvin and the Infamous Machine is a hilarious point and click adventure with am excellent look and even better voice acting.

  • A fitting tribute to the golden days of point-and-click gaming. What it lacks in length it makes up for in heart and dad jokes galore. If you yearn for a good adventure and have a few hours to spare, it won't disappoint.

  • Even though it’s the first attempt of Blyts in adventure games, with limited budget available, this game gave me around 4.5 hours of fun that I would gladly repeat. At the same time it makes me wonder what else this indie Argentinian company can offer us in the future.

  • Blyts' first graphic adventure holds immense promise for the future.

  • Kelvin and the Infamous Machine is a funny point & click adventure, inspired by LucasArts’ masterpieces: a short, but adorable, pastime during rainy afternoon.

  • Much like its classic inspirations, Kelvin and the Infamous Machine is a fun romp through a wacky history that is good for anyone looking for a lighthearted adventure.

  • A classical, quite short but humorous point and click game, which exploits the topic of time travels to set up some funny jokes and clever puzzles.

  • Kelvin and the Infamous Machine is an old-school graphic adventure which will give you hours of entertainment with its jokes, puns and classic “point and click” gameplay.

  • A hit and miss adventure that tries to pay homage to Tim Schaffer's undying classics from the 90s. It does feel like old school, and sometimes, it's even funny, but never reaches that level of brilliance.
