Little Big Workshop

Imagine a magical factory, appearing right in your living room. A carefully planned masterpiece, where diligent workers throw together anything customers want. Rubber ducks and dressers, drones and electric guitars, scooters and other wonderful goods can be created from many different materials and sold for hard cash – cash you invest right back into your factory to get more machines, more workers and grow your business. In Little Big Workshop you become a factory tycoon!

Real factories - made FUN

You are the Big Boss and it’s time to take charge of your very own tabletop factory. Organize the factory floor, manage your workers, purchase machinery, and design efficient production lines - all within the time-limit and to your client's satisfaction!

An open-ended sandbox-experience

Take it easy, it’s a sandbox-experience where you think, ponder and poke at things until you get it to work the way you’d like. Supply products to clients and an ever-changing market, as you produce over 50 unique product types, built from multiple parts and pieces - all of which can be created with different materials and production methods. No two factories should ever look the same.

Tiny hands, big dreams

Start out with just a small workshop and expand to a desk-filling factory. Unlock ever fancier machines, add even more production methods, and most of all, more room. Soon enough you’ll be running multiple production lines, producing hundreds of advanced products each day, and watching with joy as your cute workers do the actual work.

  • With its great art and challenging scenarios, it was a joy to play Little Big Workshop. Although I hope they introduce a sandbox mode with your own criteria set, it took nothing away from the enjoyment I had the original story line. A must have if you are into you management sims.

  • Little Big Workshop makes a Henry Ford out of you, requiring of you to plan and execute complex products while also handling machinery issues and your workforce. The stage for this labor drama is set on a tabletop providing comic relief and an authentic aesthetic. You get plenty of hours planning and enjoying the fruits of your intellectual labor for a very nice price.

  • Little Big Workshop is an adorable slice of capitalism and taking over the market one quality product at a time, provided that you’re willing to work for that dream. Batteries not included in dreams of wild success.

  • The characters and the overall art style are cutesy, sure. But that shouldn’t deter you from the solid build-em-up that’s underneath it all. A great game to get into the resource strategy genre with, and just as good for those that are au fait with the genre already.

  • Give Little Big Workshop just a bit of time, and it’ll hold your attention for hours on end.

  • Little Big Workshop is a cute little tycoon game that presents more complexity than it initially shows. With its original design and some nice refined crafting systems, it will show you a couple of hours of fun, even with its minor flaws that can spike out to surface from time to time.

  • For a game designed to introduce people to the genre, Little Big Workshop mostly succeeds. It proves more complicated in places than you’d expect for a beginner friendly title and the smaller scope of the game does constrict its potential. But what we have here is a solid introduction to the simulation genre - one that’s a lot of fun and proves to be quite addictive. It’s a labour of love from Mirage Games and an experience that comes highly recommended.

  • If you love puzzles and challenges along with building an empire that remains adorable even as you watch your gold accumulate or vanish, you will love Little Big Workshop.

  • Little Big Workshop is stuck in the middle, it is a good factory simulator, but it lacks depth.

  • Overall, Little Big Workshop is a relaxing play for people who enjoy the genre, outside of that it might be a little too off-putting for some people unfamiliar with this type of simulation game, especially with all the number crunching. Aesthetically, it’s very pleasing – I gained enjoyment watching my the little workers do their business around the workshop. For anyone who has a head for numbers or just want to try out a different simulation game, I can recommend giving Little Big Workshop the green light to go ahead with it.

  • Little Big Workshop's biggest flaws are its generic character designs and a few control issues, but these are greatly overshadowed by how fun this is. It's perfect for people new to the sim genre, allowing players to tackle things at their own pace and make the experience as easy or as difficult as they choose. Veterans will also be able to jump right in and start making their factory to their liking, as well as taking on challenges to push their tiny little company to be the best it can be. Little Big Workshop doesn't reinvent the sim genre, but it fits perfectly into it and brings charm and flair one might not expected from a newer studio.
