Are you ready for an exciting career in furniture? As a newly certified Furniture Arrangement & Relocation Technician, you’ll take on moving jobs all across the busy town of Packmore. Grow your business to brave new heights, recruit colourful customizable characters, and save your town from furniture peril!

Co-op!

Enjoy the story mode solo as an independent contractor or team up with some friends. Up to four players can cozy up on the couch to argue over the best way to move a couch. Test your skills AND your friendship!

Physics!

Are pesky doors and windows standing in your furniture’s way? Just blast through them with physics! Lift, toss and smash your way to the fastest times!

Action!

Learn the ropes in a series of increasingly precarious and fantastical moving jobs. How a bed gets from point A to point B is never a straight line, so throw out the training manual and get creative!

Adventure!

Every moving company starts small, but as your reputation ranks up, so do your destinations. Move through sleepy suburbs, frenzied farms, haunted houses, virtual reality and lands beyond!

Characters!

Recruit a unique cast of colorful characters, each packed with a passion for manual labor!

Assist Mode!

Are you a rookie? No problem! Adjust the game’s difficulty so anyone can play!

  • Moving Out is a light-hearted approach to the art of furniture removal, and with the cute visuals, hilarious dialogue and story, and simple control scheme, Moving Out is a game that is accessible for anyone. The bonus level achievements and the Gold Medal collection will mean that each level has a certain amount of replayability as gamers chase down each of the achievements on offer. And with up to four players locally, the whole family can get into the fun-filled action (especially during a period of isolation). Moving furniture has never been so entertaining.

  • Moving Out is a joyous experience. The chaos is ever-present, but the chill approach ensures that everyone is having a good time instead of gradually wanting to tear each other apart. The number of levels is just right, and the presentation is appealing. It serves as a perfect complement to other co-op titles and belongs in the library of anyone who enjoys the genre.

  • Moving Out is a fast-paced, arcade-style co-op that leans into carefree, chaotic, over-the-top gameplay.

  • Provided you’ve got at least one friend in tow to share the load and the laughs, Moving Out is an absolute blast. It takes a simple set of mechanics and milks madness and mirth from them in equal measures, consistently shaking up the parameters of its heavy-lifting assignments to keep you on your toes while you’re bending at the knees. Moving Out is the best way to get your mates to help you move house without having to owe them a case of beer afterwards.

  • As an avid fan of the Overcooked series I am more than happy to see some additional representatives of the Couch coop genre – especially if they are as well-made as Moving Out.

  • Couch co-op that’s equal parts cathartic and chaotic. There’s no better way to bond than by tossing a TV or two into oncoming traffic. Moving Out’s charming, physics-based gameplay and equally quirky levels demand you bring a friend or three.

  • An accessible and fun local multiplayer experience, excellent if your'e looking for something to play with a younger brother. If you're looking for a more layered gameplay, though, better stick to Overcooked.

  • CD-Action

Although the single player mode bored me to death, I found a lot of excitement in co-op. That, unsurprisingly, is what the game was built for. [07/2020, p.66]
