OlliOlli 2 will test you. The controls are simple and straightforward, but success requires precision. Across 50 levels and five worlds, you will trick, you will combo, you will fail, and finally... you will succeed. OlliOlli 2 is a wonderfully tight zen experience from beginning to end. It's worth the price of admission.

With easy to learn, hard to master controls that build up as you progress through the game, and an addictive scoring mechanic that is always pushing you to master the game, OlliOlli 2 is a great addition to any PC gamer's library.

OlliOlli 2 is exactly what you want from a sequel: refinement, addition, and an evolution of the game before it that is just a better game.

OlliOlli2 has extracted the very essence of skateboarding and poured it into two-dimensional bliss.

OlliOlli2 isn’t exactly easy for me to love but it’s a damn fine game in its own right. It nails the classic skating action of the old Tony Hawk games while mixing in fighting game combos and Donkey Kong style platforming. If you missed it on PSN it’s definitely worth a look on Steam.

OlliOlli 2 is more than a worthy sequel. Not content with adding tweaks here and there, the game evolves but preserving its essence.

In short, Olli Olli 2 is everything a great sequel should be: across the board improvement that builds on the solid foundation of its predecessor without losing the magic that made it special in the first place.

A phenomenal outing that builds well on its foundation and introduces great new content.

It's an improvement on the scrappier feeling original, introducing that one tiny combo-blending manual trick that transforms the game into a profoundly new-feeling and lovely thing.

Hybrid of endless runner and skateboard sim can extremely piss and satisfy you at the same time. Short levels combined with high-speed, great trick system and precise controls will draw you to OlliOlli 2 like a magnet.

The sequel from Roll7 could be easily dismissed as a repetition of the first OlliOlli, only under a new skin, but it would be too harsh a judgment. It may be too similar with the first one, but its gameplay remains fresh and entirely intuitive while the addition of manuals manages to bring an essential tool for combo built-up.

Uncompromising, yet highly addictive skateboard arcade – its step towards competitive gameplay suits it very well. [Issue#256]

OlliOlli 2: Welcome to Olliwood is the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 of side-scrolling skateboarding games. And yes, that's a good thing.

People looking to play something immersive on their PCs should look elsewhere.
