  • No, WQ isn’t setting any new major trends in the tactics genre, but it’s a great universe both for those who love Warhammer and for those who just enjoy high fantasy.

  • Warhammer Quest is a great digital port of a classic tabletop dungeon crawl. Unfortunately the extra content should be open to everyone. Feel safe to invest only for a full package at a solid discount and you will enjoy many epic adventures of old school awesomeness.

  • CD-Action

Despite its obvious low budget I’ve already devoted 60 hours to Warhammer Quest – first on iOS, and now on PC. The atmosphere of the Old World recreated by Rodeo Games does not cease to delight me. [03/2014, p.80]

  • A truly old style dungeon crawler that has the merit of slavishly reproduce the mechanics of now unobtainable board game, managing to be fulfilling despite an inescapable simplicity. The main flaw resides in the direct porting from iOS: for the PC version was reasonable to expect some optimization.

  • An entertaining, tactical dungeon crawler with a lot of different classes and a steady supply of items. The cash shop is mildly annoying though, thankfully you don’t really need it.

  • Ultimately, Warhammer Quest is an enjoyable experience, a fun little time waster that delivers slices of dungeon action at an easily digestible pace. But it does so at a price point for content it just doesn't justify.

  • Even if I still see the iOS version a good game, Warhammer Quest on PC should had offered a lot more complexity instead of the simple point & click decisions that doesn't allow you to really immerse into the game.

  • Warhammer Quest is an old school boardgame-tablet-port RPG that fails to enhance itself for a platform that requires a bit more both in terms of gameplay and aesthetics. If a light RPG adventure is what you are after then Warhammer Quest is a sure bet, but if you're looking for something on par with what the PC market offers nowadays then definitely look elsewhere.

  • The game is a very poor (and expensive) porting of the title already available on iOS. Some quests and random events are well-written, but the gameplay is too repetitive and gets tedious quickly.

  • It's a lame conversion from the iPad version, so you'd better stick with the mobile one.

  • There is no accounting for this Quest’s missing element – company. Even bad games can be fun alongside the right sort of people.

  • Warhammer Quest is a competent example of a digital board game but in trying to sand its sharp edges and ensure that it's accessible to all, Rodeo has oversimplified the already slight source material.

  • There is fun to be had in five minute bursts as a distraction from doing work, but then that’s what I bought the phone version for. Don’t buy it. And there’s no multiplayer either, in case you were wondering.

  • You fight through ugly visuals and repetitive battles just to find yourself in the overpriced real currency store.

  • Wherever you go in Warhammer Quest, you will find nothing but repetitive dungeons and battles. The original board game was fun because you played it with live people, and it simply doesn’t work as a pure single-player experience.
